【水盤の紅茶風呂/  ハスとアマガエル】

こちらの作品は、新シリーズ「秘密のティーガーデン」 の一枚です。
本作は、私の絵本の主人公「ティーとカメレオン」 が暮らす庭にある、植木鉢（水盤）のひとつを描いたシリーズ作品となっています。
植木鉢のモチーフは、私が大切にしているアンティークのティーカップ。
ティーは庭の花々に水の代わりに紅茶を注ぎ、いつの間にか水やりの時間が、花たちとの小さな茶会へと変わっていく―
そんな不思議な庭の情景を、この作品に込めました。
描かれているティーカップは、約150年前のイギリス製アンティーク。植物はハスをモチーフにしています。
 
Description of the work
This piece is from my new series, "The Secret Tea Garden."
This work is part of a series depicting one of the flowerpots (basins) in the garden where my picture book protagonist, "Tea and the Chameleon," lives.
The flowerpot motif is inspired by an antique teacup that I cherish.
Tea pours black tea instead of water for the garden flowers, and before you know it, watering time transforms into a little tea party with the flowers.
I tried to capture this magical garden scene in this work.
The teacup depicted is an antique British teacup dating back approximately 150 years. The plant is based on a lotus.
